La Toya Jackson to get reality show on Oprah's OWN Network

Oprah’s OWN Network released its lineup for the fall and La Toya’s reality show is set to make its debut in 2013.

Entitled Life With La Toya, the focal point of the series will allow viewers to get a glimpse of La Toya Jackson’s personal life. From seeing her perspective on what’s it like being a Jackson, to expanding her business ventures, this show will provide a platform for people to know who La Toya is.

Aside from being an executive producer for her project, Jackson is also working with Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato, who also executive produced Chaz Bono’s documentary Becoming Chaz.

La Toya told Chicago Tribune, “I am so pleased to be working with television legend Oprah Winfrey and to be a part of the OWN family.”

Along with La Toya’s show, OWN is set to slate new episodes of Oprah’s Next Chapter, Welcome to Sweetie Pie’s and Iyanla, Fix My Life in the fall.

OWN co-prexy Erik Logan told Variety, “We’ve laid the ground work at OWN, and now it’s time to build on that success with these brand new shows.”
