In the September issue of Marie Claire, Miley Cryus explains how she had “no input” in the engagement ring she received from her fiancé Liam Hemsworth.
The singer and actress told the magazine that although she “saw it online at one point and thought it was really pretty,” she “had no input.”
The ring is an 18-karat Neil Lane stunner that was handcrafted in the 1800s. Cyrus, who is known for her stylish wardrobe, says of the ring “Ijust love that it's old and has a story. And I'm happy because it doesn't look like anything else I wear."
Cyrus is 19 and Hemsworth is 22, so the “Party in the USA” singer explains that they want to have a “long engagement.”
“Life is too short not to be with the person you want to be with," she said, People reports. "I don't really care about the wedding or the piece of paper as much as I do the promise we've made to each other. And we want to have a long engagement."
She also gave some insight into The Last Song couple’s relationship. "Liam and I have a really good relationship," she insisted. "Neither of us is super jealous. We know each other and would never do anything to hurt each other."
