Nicole Kidman appears topless on magazine cover

Nicole Kidman, the star of the upcoming film The Paperboy , bares it all in a photo shoot for the September issue of V Magazine.

USA Today reported that the Moulin Rouge actress dressed for the shoot in nothing more than black stilettos and a revealing cheeky leather mini-skirt. Carlyne Cerf De Dudzeele styled the 45-year-old actress for the fold-out cover of the magazine’s travel edition.

The usually sleek and elegant Kidman looks more like her character, Charlotte, in The Paperboy , the movie in which she urinates on Zac Efron. Kidman admits that she generally does what is asked of her.

"I don't really make decisions, I go with the flow. If I were a strategically minded person, I think I would have a far different career. But I would be more outlandish if I could. A lot of times you just don't get the chance."

SFGate also reported that in addition to the barely-concealing black leather outfit, the Cold Mountain star also posed in sheer red lingerie for photographer, Mario Testino.

Kidman will be honored at this year’s New York Film Festival gala on October 3.
