Report: Friends of Katie Holmes concerned with Tom Cruise spoiling 6-year-old Suri

Friends of Katie Holmes are reportedly concerned with the way Tom Cruise is spoiling 6-year-old Suri Cruise.

While the divorce between Holmes and Cruise has seemingly been civil so far, having settled all the terms in a record amount of time, the two are said to have very different parenting styles.

In the little time Cruise has to spend time with their daughter, which is on breaks from his hectic filming schedule, he has so far taken her via a private helicopter from New York City to the Hamptons and he took her to Disney World in Orlando this week.

“This is not good,” a friend of the Batman Begins star from her home state of Ohio told The Chicago Sun-Times. “As if Suri wasn’t already spoiled enough, this is only making it worse. … Now she’s demanding only travel on private planes, for God’s sake. She’s just 6. Can you imagine what she’ll be like by the time she’s a teenager, if this keeps up?”

The source continued, “Plus Tom never disciplines her one little bit. Katie is the one who has to do that, and it’s not good for that to be so totally one-sided.”

There have been some crazy reports that the 6-year-old would rather live with her father because of his lavish lifestyle, but everything reported on the family is most likely to be hearsay.
