Report: Kim Kardashian and Kanye West looking to start a footwear line together

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West must be getting pretty serious, as new reports suggest that the couple is looking into starting a joint shoe line.

On Wednesday, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star and rapper met with Salma Hayek’s billionaire husband Francois Henri-Pinault at the exclusive Eastern Yacht Club in Marblehead, MA to try and get a shoe deal sealed. Hayek is filming Grown Ups 2 in Marblehead with Adam Sandler.

"Kim and Kanye had lunch with Francois the other day at the yacht club because they're trying to negotiate a shoe deal with him,” a source told RadarOnline.

The source added, "Francois' company owns Louis Vuitton, which Kim and Kanye are obviously both big fans of. Nothing is set in stone yet, but they're really excited about the potential footwear line."

Glamour points out that both Kardashian and West have experience in the footwear industry, as Kardashian started ShoeDazzle, which is a $39.95 per month shoe club, and West has designed such shoes as the Nike Air Yeezy, and a Louis Vuitton shoe in 2009.
