“Pon De Replay” was Rihanna’s introduction to the world. The song was only a taste of what was to come.

“Unfaithful” was a brave single choice for Rihanna. Telling the story of a cheating woman, the song let everyone know that she was not trying to a perfect popstar.

I grew up loving it…” She had told MTV News about the reggae influence in the song. “The special thing in [‘Man Down’] is the fact that it’s a female singing those lyrics, then you have that reggae thing and the chant; the overall energy in that song is so gangsta.”

We Found Love is Rihanna’s biggest hit to date, when it comes to the Billboard Hot 100. It became her biggest hit after it spent its 8th week at No.1 in December. It spent a total of 10 weeks on top.
