Musician Rufus Wainwright and his longtime partner, Jorn Weisbrodt, got married on Thursday, August 23.
People reports that the musician and German-artist director wed in Montauk, a beach community in Long Island, in front of friends and family.
Their longtime friend and co-artist Justin Vivian Bond wed the pair in front a series of celebrities which included the likes of Julianne Moore, Yoko Ono and Alan Cumming. Carrie Fisher, Mark Ronson, Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoren were among other guests who attended the nuptials.
Director Ronson assisted with DJ duties during the reception. People notes that guests stayed all night dancing and enjoying the newlyweds, noting that nobody left the festivities early.
Guests were served lobster, clams, corn and Nicolas Feuillatte champagne.
The couple have a one-year-old daughter, Viva Katherine Wainwright Cohen, in a parenting partnership with Lorca Cohen, daughter of Leonard Cohen.
The Associated Press notes that Wainwright and Weisbrodt were engaged since 2010.
