Bradley Cooper, named by People as the Sexiest Man Alive, is a busy actor these days, as he starts work on The Hangover Part 3 and will be in theaters soon with Hit & Run. He has several projects lined up, including a crime thriller called Bad Blood and Trouble and will be starring and a Broadway revival of The Elephant Man.

First up is Bad Blood and Trouble. Variety reported Thursday that the 1950’s-set crime drama will be directed by J Blakeson and financed by MRC. Cooper is currently in talks to join the film, which should start production in the second half of next year. Adrian Sturges and Michael De Luca are producing.

Variety’s Jeff Sneider also tweeted on Thursday that Clint Eastwood is considering Cooper for the male lead in his A Star Is Born remake. That film is set to star Beyonce Knowles and had to be delayed because of her pregnancy.

Cooper is also ready to take the stage next year. He told E! News that he is planning on the lead role in The Elephant Man, the play based on David Lynch’s film. He already played Merrick this summer at the Williamstown Theater Festival in Massachusetts and is preparing to take the play to Broadway.

“We're going to try to do it on Broadway next fall,” he said. “We're going to try to nail it down and do a limited run.”

Cooper has several projects lined up for 2012 and 2013. Hit & Run hits theaters on Aug. 22, while The Words with Zoe Saldana opens on Sept. 7. He also stars in The Place Beyond The Pines, Serena and an untitled David O. Russell project. He will spend most of the rest of 2012 working on The Hangover Part III, which will hit theaters in May, 2013.
