Alfonso Ribeiro, better known to fans as Carlton from The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, is the latest celeb to tweet that he is alive and well after the internet had labeled him dead.
According to E!, Ribeiro was reported dead yesterday after a Facebook page dedicated to his life was created.
The actor took to Twitter to clarify that he is alive and well. He posted a series of tweets including, “I guess FB has a page saying I died. I wonder what people are gonna say at my funeral???”

Later on he also wrote, “It's crazy how many people are calling me about this rumor.” The singer, actor and director later remained positive about the rumor saying, “Thanks for all the love. In every situation you must find the positive.”
Ribeiro is not the only celeb to be falsely identified as dead. This weekend legendary actor Morgan Freeman also fell victim to an internet hoax which stated that he had also died. According to the report, a tweet read, “RT @CNN: Breaking News: actor Morgan Freeman has passed away in his Burbank home<< wow legendary actor #RIPmorganfreeman.”
His rep later confirmed to E! that Freeman is “alive and well.”
