Are Kim Kardashian and Kanye West ready to take the next step and move in together?

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have been dating not-so-secretly for a few months now. They have flaunted their relationship in public, on Twitter, on a reality show, and for Kanye, in song. As things seem to be getting serious, are they taking the next big step and moving in together?

According to new reports, Kim and Kanye plan to shack up in the not-so-distant future. The reality star and the rapper are both looking to buy new homes. Kim is looking in LA while Kanye is looking in New York. When they find the perfect place they plan to "share."

“They have the most fun with each other and they keep getting closer,” a source said in Us Weekly. “She’s thinking of getting a bigger place in LA and he’ll get a [bigger] one in NYC and they’ll share!”

Moving in together may be in their plans, but it won't happen just yet. Kim and Kanye are currently spending time apart due to work. Kanye is promoting the release of Cruel Summer and Kim is shooting her Kardashians spin-off in Miami.

While they are apart, Kim has someone to keep her company and remind her of Kanye, since it has the same name as one of his songs. Kanye surprised Kim with a new kitten when she arrived in Miami this week. The kitten is a white teacup persian named Mercy.

"With me in Miami, Kanye knew I would need company when he wasn't around," she told People. "So he surprised me with her [Mercy]. She's so sweet and the cutest thing ever."
