Cobie Smulders weds Taran Killam

Cobie Smulders of How I Met Your Mother and Saturday Night Live funnyman Taran Killam became husband and wife on Saturday, September 8.

US Weekly confirms the exciting news that the pair wed after 3 years of being engaged. Killam and Smulders wed in Alisal Resort in Solvand, California during a 15-minute ceremony, in front of 300 guests.

Among their 300 guests included Smulders’ How I Met Your Mother co-stars Alyson Hannigan and Neil Patrick Harris, Rumor Fix reports.

In addition to their friends and family, the couple, who had been dating for eight years, also have a three-year-old daughter named Shaelyn Cado, who was also in attendance to witness her parents tie the knot. Smulders reportedly talked about Shaelyn and the impending nuptials with ET Canada where she explained, “She really wants a dress and she wants white shoes.”

The reception was held on a private lake to which their guests were taken via hay ride. The newlyweds reportedly rented out the entire ranch at $43,000 a night.
