Warner Bros. has finally released information on what will be included when The Dark Knight Rises when the film is released on Blu-ray and DVD. The set will be packed with bonus features and the Blu-ray collectors edition even includes a model of Batman's mask shattered on the ground.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the film is set to be released on DVD and Blu-ray on December 4. While that may sound like a long time, at least we will now know what to expect from the home release.
While the DVD only includes a featurette called The Journey of Bruce Wayne and art galleries, the larger memory Blu-ray set will have viewers entertained for hours after the film. The Blu-ray combo pack includes a documentary solely focused on the Batmobile.
Additionally, viewers will be able to see all five Batmobiles together for the first time. Also, Ending the Knight will include about 17 featurettes focusing on how producers made the film, dishing out details regarding Batman and Bane and how the team blew up a city street. The Blu-ray version also includes The Journey of Bruce Wayne.
While MTV reports that there will not be any deleted scenes or a directors cut, there is still a lot of extras to be excited about.
