Demi Lovato and Wilmer Valderrama spotted on dinner date amidst rumors she's dating One Direction's Niall Horan

There have been some rumors floating around that Demi Lovato and One Direction’s Niall Horan are dating, but new pictures seem to prove that isn’t true, because she was spotted with her ex-boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama.

On Sunday night, the new X Factor judge. 20, and former That 70’s Show actor, 32, were seen getting dinner at El Torito restaurant in Sherman Oaks, California.

According to The Daily Mail, the night didn’t stop there, as Wilderrama and Lovato were seen going back to her house after dinner.

The relationship between these two started back in 2010, but they’ve always maintained that they were just friends. Back in July of this year, they worked together on a campaign for Voto Latino.

On August 20, Valderrama sent her birthday wishes on Twitter, writing “Feliz Cumpleaños to my angel @ddlovato, U continue 2 make me proud. U are the hero this generation it’s been waiting 4! With & by you always.”

Lovato then responded with, “@WValderrama You are amazing…Thank you so much love. You mean the world to me,” but has deleted the tweet since. They continued fueling rumors on September 2, when they were spotted at The Cheesecake Factory in Hollywood.

Meanwhile, Lovato is denying rumors that she’s dating Horan by telling E! News"There is nothing going on. Niall's my friend.”
"I'm really happy for One Direction and the success that they've had," she went on to say. "It just goes to show you how crazy this competition is to making stars and the success that they have. He's a good friend of mine."

When asked about any relationship in general, Lovato said "I'm just focusing on my work right now, and that's pretty much that.”
