Since going their separate ways in 2004 to focus on solo careers, Destiny’s Child will come out with a greatest hits album named Playlist to commemorate the 15th year anniversary of their first number one hit, “No, No, No Part 2.”
Beyonce Knowles, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams achieved success as solo acts individually, by releasing albums and starring in feature films and Broadway plays.
The women are always asked if there is a possible reunion tour in the future, but given their busy schedules, it’s very unlikely.
Billboard reported that Playlist will consist of 14 tracks including their 1999 hit “Bills, Bills, Bills" and “Lose My Breath” from their 2004 album Destiny Fulfilled.
Matthew Knowles, Beyonce’s father as well as former manager for Destiny’s Child, eluded that he planned on releasing two records with brand new material in the fall.
Knowles told The Huffington Post, “The hardest thing would be choosing which songs they’re going to do, because we would want to mix it up with solo hits and Destiny’s Child hits. We would have to throw away some number ones from off the set list.”
Playlist is set to be released on October 9, under the Music World/Columbia recording label.
