The last season of Dexter left many fans in suspense as Michael C. Hall’s character was finally caught in the act of killing one of his victims by his own sister, who is played by Jennifer Carpenter. Showtime recently released a trailer and the first two minutes of the upcoming season 7, which will give fans some insight and worries.

Spoiler alert!

The trailer shows Deb becoming an accomplice to Dexter’s murder and uncovering the countless skeletons in his dark past. Just as Deb struggles with the morality behind her decision to not turn her brother in, Dexter struggles with the uncertainty of how he will deal with his own sister. Watch the trailer below.

In the first two minutes of the season opener, Dexter picks up right where we left off last season in the church with Dexter caught red-handed by his sister Deb. Both characters are in shock. Deb instinctively points her gun at Dexter and lowers it after Dexter asks. He explains he just “snapped.” The clip cuts off in suspense as Deb calls the police and Dexter steps forward to stop her. The Examiner provided readers with new photos of the season and a couple of spoilers. The photos are from episode 2 of season 7.

The publication hinted at the idea that Dexter’s sister might not be the only person that discovers his “dark passenger.”
