Emily Blunt and Joseph Gordon-Levitt talk new sci-fi ‘Looper’

‘Looper’ denied top spot at the box office as ‘Hotel Transylvania’ breaks September record

Looper came out this week and its stars Emily Blunt and Joseph Gordon-Levitt have been hard at work promoting the film.

Both actors spoke to Collider and shared their thoughts on Collider among other things.

At the Toronto International Film Festival, Joseph Gordon-Levitt sat down and discussed how he got involved with his latest film. He also addressed online rumors that The Dark Knight Rises DVD has 30 minutes of deleted scenes and confirmed that it is probably not true.

Lastly, Gordon-Levitt discussed his directorial debut, Don Jon’s Addiction, which features himself, Scarlett Johansson and Julianne Moore. He actually wrote the dark-comedy and is in the process of editing it right now. Watch the full interview below.

Co-star Emily Blunt was also at the film festival and discussed her love of the science-fiction genre and the script of Looper. She also discussed her upcoming film, All You Need Is Kill, with co-star Tom Cruise. Watch below.

As said before, Looper debuted this weekend and the box office results show that the film made $21.2 million. Entertainment Weekly reported that the film came second to Hotel Transylvania, which made $43 million this weekend.
