Giuliana Rancic and husband Bill show off baby Edward Duke

After years of desperate attempts at a pregnancy, Giuliana and Bill Rancic finally have a tiny son to call their own, and they are introducing him to the world on the cover of Life & Style Magazine.

The New York Daily News reported that Giuliana and Bill met their son Edward Duke on Aug. 29 after her was born via gestational surrogaote.

And the couple have been estactic ever since. Bill told Life & Style that Giuliana has been a “supermom.” “It’s amazing how natural instincts have taken over. It literally brought tears to my eyes the other day watching her with Duke.”

The couple also dished on their little tot’s unique name. “Edward is Bill’s late dad’s name and my dad’s name. It was a way to honor them. And Duke means leader,” Giuliana told the mag.

Fans and friends who watched the couple’s struggles to get pregnant on reality show Guiliana and Bill, were shocked when the E! News host announced she had breast cancer in 2011. Despite being told to put off any pregnancy due to her illness, the couple found a surrogate, and the rest is history.

“Every shot, every doctor’s visit – in the end, when you’re holding your baby in your arms, you forget it all, and it’s worth it,” Giuliana said.
