Jessica Simpson is trying to shed the baby weight that she put on when pregnant with her daughter Maxwell Drew, even signing a reported $4 million endorsement deal with Weight Watchers.
The new mom has opened up about her quest to live a more healthy lifestyle now that she has given birth to Maxwell.
"I let myself indulge in everything I wanted because it was the first time I was ever pregnant, and I wanted to enjoy it," she said of not holding back when she was pregnant. "I wanted to be happy and eat what I wanted.”
Simpson also told USA Today that she "didn't realize it (the weight) didn't all come off with the baby.”
With Weight Watchers, there’s no goal weight or fat percentage to lose, Simpson maintains "they want me to be healthy."
Now following the diet plan for a couple months, Simpson said "I've lost weight every single week."
"I'm not a supermodel. My body is not bouncing back like a supermodel,” she admits. “I'm just your everyday woman who is trying to feel good and be healthy for her daughter, her fiancé and herself."
Furthermore, Contact Music reports that Simpson said she’s still just walking, because her large breasts don’t allow her to run just yet.
