Jets Quarterback Mark Sanchez grabs dinner with actress Eva Longoria

Jets fans will not be giddy about the fact that one of their quarterbacks, who along with Tim Tebow, failed to throw a single touchdown pass this preseason, has been spending time with actress Eva Longoria instead of spending more time improving his game.

The two were spotted Friday night at Donald Trump’s National Golf Club enjoying bites from each other’s plates in Bedminster, NJ according to the New York Post.

According to Yahoo, Longoria, 37, has not had the best luck with men as of late. She recently got divorced with San Antonio Spurs basketball player Tony Parker and finished her relationship with Spanish singer Eduardo Cruz. However, she seems to be enjoying her time with Sanchez.

A source told the New York Post that they have been spending plenty of time together. Besides the dinner they went grocery shopping, had a date night in a west village restaurant and flew to the Caribbean for a weekend.

This is wonderful news for both Sanchez and Longoria, but has to be a bit troublesome for Jet’s fans that will see the new relationship as a distraction after such a horrid preseason. All they could do is pray and hope for the best as the Jets prepare to take on the Buffalo Bills for their first game of the upcoming season Sunday, September 9th.
