Katy Perry is the latest celebrity to support President Obama by performing in a concert to help raise funds for his re-election campaign.
Just a day after Jay Z and Beyonce raised $4 million Tuesday night to go towards President Obama’s campaign, reports show that Perry is set to perform at his 30 Days To Victory concert which will be held Oct. 7, in Los Angeles.
AceShowbiz reported that the fundraising concert will start selling tickets at $44 per person under the age of 40 and general admission for the concert is $250 per person.
This news hasn’t been confirmed yet by representatives for both Perry and the Nokia Theater.
Following the event, Hollywood mogul Jeffrey Katzenberg will be hosting a dinner for the President at a local restaurant with tickets starting at $25,000 per person according to MTV.
Many A-list celebrities have shown their support for President Obama in the last couple of weeks by throwing fundraising events at their homes.
Celebrities who are avid Obama supporters include Julia Roberts, Ellen DeGeneres, Jon Bon Jovi, Cher, Meryl Streep and Oprah Winfrey.
