Ke$ha reveals album title and single

By Meaghan Fleming,

Singer Ke$ha announced the release date of her first single “Die Young,” and of her upcoming album entitled Warriors on Wednesday.

The “TiK ToK” singer announced the release date for her fans on her Twitter page:

She later posted the cover of the album:

Ke$ha’s new album will feature appearances by many well-known artists including Ben Folds, Iggy Pop, and Patrick Carney from The Black Keys, reports Billboard.

This is her second album. Ke$ha’s debut albumAnimal, and her LP entitled Cannibal were both released in 2010.

Fans can expect to hear some music about partying, but Ke$ha also says “some songs on the new record are more personal and vulnerable. And you can hear more of the music I listen to when I'm lying in my bed. I'm not claiming that it's a rock record – but as long as it's fucking good, you can call it whatever you want," according to Rolling Stone .

Ke$ha discusses her new album saying, "I've been working for a year on this new record and have collaborated with some of my idols. This process has been long and intense and I couldn't be more stoked to share this music. I hope with 'Warrior' my fans get to know me in a much more raw and vulnerable way."

The single “Die Young” will be released this Tuesday, September 25.
