Kristen Stewart complimented her director this weekend, and no it wasn’t Rupert Sanders.
According to New York Daily News, Stewart praised her On the Road director Walter Salles saying, “He puts so much inside of you.”
“He puts so much trust in us,” KStew added.
MTV News reports that the Twilight star told reporters she wouldn’t have been comfortable doing the risque movie if she was younger. “I should have definitely been older than 17 while playing this part, absolutely. My [performance] would have been done very differently if I was younger. I wouldn’t have played the part, obviously.”
The actress appears topless in one scene, but assures everyone that the showing of her boobies was “no big deal.” Stewart wanted to embrace the role as a way to explore the adventurous fearlessness that Kerouac inspires in his novel.
The new film received rave reviews at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival, where Stewart made her first public professional appearance, post cheating scandal, to promote the flick.
