While the Duchess of Cambridge is causing a stir after topless photos of her on vacation were published by a French magazine, Twilight actress Kristin Stewart is receiving praise for going topless in her newest film, On The Road.
The 22-year-old spoke to MTV about going topless for the performance, saying, “It didn't bother me. You can do no wrong with [Salles]. He puts so much inside of you. In the four-week rehearsal process, it was okay to ask any question, to bring up any story, to really overanalyze everything and intellectualize everything."
She continues, "Once we got on set, it was so about just breathing and letting it happen. He put so much trust in us. So it was like, 'OK, so I have to take my clothes off?' It's so not a big [deal]."
Stewart continued to explain the importance of keeping the spirit of the film and that being afraid of embracing the whole character would do the writer a disservice.
On the Road, based off of the novel written by Jack Kerouac and directed by Walter Salles also stars Garrett Hedlund, Sam Riley, Amy Adams and Kirsten Dunst.
