Kristin Chenoweth is hanging in there after an on-set accident on The Good Wife left her hospitalized.
Chenoweth made her first public appearance since the accident that left her injured on Live! With Kelly and Michael on Friday.
According to Celebuzz, while there, Chenoweth explained that she’s making progress but she is still “issue-ridden” since she was hit with lighting equipment.
“I have a skull fracture, and a rib issue and a neck issue and a hip issue,” she said. “I’m just issue-ridden. But I’m getting better and I wear my neck brace on and off and I’m trying to build these muscles back up but this [her head] is healing.”
She said of the accident that the lighting equipment, which comprised of medal rods, “knocked me in the face and slammed me down to the ground.”
“We were shooting outside for The Good Wife and the back of my head got hit on a curb so I was out cold.”
The Associated Press reports that Chenoweth told Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan that her co-star Josh Charles was holding her hand when she awoke.
"He's my angel,” she said.
Although she will appear on the September 30 season premiere of CBS’ The Good Wife, she had to withdraw herself from being a reoccurring character.
