Rapper Lil Wayne set a huge milestone today as he surpassed Elvis Presley, now holding the most artist-held Billboard Hot 100 hits.
According to MTV, Wayne’s newest hit, “Celebration,” hit number 82 on the Hot 100 list and gave the singer the milestone that only the King of Rock 'n' Roll once held.
Presley held 108 spots on the Hot 100 during his lifetime, now, Wayne took on 109 with Game's “Celebration.”
The new hit also features the likes of Chris Brown, Tyga and Wiz Khalifa, Billboard reports.
Reuters reports that Presley originally held the milestone for 45 years. According to the report, Presley may still hold that coveted number one spot, however, his career predated the Billboard 100 chart.
Wayne currently remains in second place despite his magnificent career. Weezy remains behind Fox’s hit singing show Glee, which holds 204 songs on the Billboard charts.
Wayne and Presley now stand strong in front of third- and fourth-placers James Brown, who has 91 hits on the chart, while Ray Charles follows with 74.
