Pink and Eminem have joined forces again to create the song “Here Comes the Weekend,” which has leaked online today.
The pop/rock influence from Pink and rap/hip-hop influence from Eminem comes together in a party song about anticipating the weekend after a long week.
"I'm tearing up the night/ Lipstick and leather tight/ Not looking for a fight/ No /High heels and cherry wine/ Not wasting any time/ We're ticking like a bomb/About to blow,” Pink sings on the track, MTV News reports.
The chorus goes, "Here comes/ Comes the weekend hear it calling like a siren/ We don't look for trouble/ Just enough to seeing double."
In Eminem’s part, he mentions friends Biggie and P. Diddy. "I'm probably not gonna be wanting to pop bubbly or Ciroc/ I'm not Puffy, but Ima run the city tonight/ When I hit it, I might act like a freakin' idiot/ Diddy mixed with a medieval knight, big city lights/ Little indignity, hot diggity/ This Biggie is gettin' me hype.”
The song will appear on Pink’s new album The Truth about Love and it was produced by DJ Khalil.
Pink described she and Eminem’s decision to do songs together, as she appeared on his track “Won’t Back Down,” in August.
"He said, 'Do you want to do a song with me?' 'F--- yeah!' I said, 'Do you want to do a song with me?' and he said, 'F--- yeah!' Handshake. Nothing signed. Done," she said at the time.
Billboard reports that the leaked track comes six days ahead of Pink’s release of her sixth studio album.
