Lifetime released the first official trailer to the movie on Thursday on its YouTube channel.
The New York Daily News says that Lohan will portray the late and great Elizabeth Taylor. Lohan is convincing in her role as Taylor, writes N.Y. Daily News. The movie will follow Taylor during her romance with Hollywood actor Richard Burton as they filmed Cleopatra. The love affair was highly documented by the paparazzi. The passionate and turbulent romance between the two is chronicled in this straight-to-TV movie on the Lifetime network.
The Hollywood Reporter notes that Lindsay and her co-star, True Blood's Grant Bowler, had no problem creating the heat and passion that Taylor and Burton shared on set. Producer Larry A. Thompson told Reporter, “Lohan and Bowler not only do they look like Taylor and Burton, but their acting together and chemistry really says to you that Liz and Dick live again. You can see it, sense it and feel the chemistry."
The movie is scheduled to premiere in November on the Lifetime network.
