Miley Cyrus focusing on upcoming record before wedding

Miley Cyrus isn’t rushing to get down the aisle any time soon. The singer/actress has opted to put wedding plans on hold to focus on her music career.

According to Celebs Gather, Cyrus, who recently starred in LOL, told reporters at the MTV music awards that she’s putting wedding plans on hold, saying, “I've got so much going with this record.…This record's going to, like, kill me.” The country singer gave fans a little insight as to what they can expect from this new album, saying, “It’s really different.” She adds, “It's my favorite thing I've done, probably ever."

She adds, “I’ve got so much planning to do with the tours and getting the record out,” People reports.

Cyrus and Hunger Games beau Liam Hemsworth announced their engagement in June. Hemsworth proposed to the 19-year-old former Disney starlet with a 3.5 carat Neil Lane diamond ring.

Don’t assume that Cyrus is getting cold feet by any means, she did gush that she is “really excited to get married,” but notes, “I kind of already feel married.”
