According to Entertainment Weekly, the Bridget Jones’ Diary actress will also star in the film with Jackass’ Johnny Knoxville. He will play the lead role of a stand-up comic who is afraid of commitment and is on a downward spiral, until he gets hired as a babysitter by a single mom (Zellweger), who has a young genius son.

The script was written by Anthony Tambakis, who co-wrote Warrior. He based the script on the life of Dov Davidoff.

The Hollywood Reporter notes that K5 is currently selling the project to international distributors at the Toronto Film Festival, which just kicked off. CAA will handle the project in North America.

Production will start in February 2013 in New York. It will be executive produced by Raj Brinder Singh. Kevin Frakes of PalmStar Media Capital will produce with Zellweger and Tambakis.
