Beyoncé fans look out, the sultry singer will be performing at Super Bowl XLVII!
According to the Los Angeles Times, the “If I Were a Boy” singer let fans in on the exciting news, four days before its scheduled reveal.
On her Tumblr, Beyoncé posted a sexy picture of her with black paint under her eyes and the date February 3, 2013 inscribed inside.
Last year’s Super Bowl between the New York Giants and New England Patriots showcased Madonna in a half-time spectacular, which garnered 111 million viewers. Although at week six football fans are unaware of who will compete for the title of Super Bowl champion, fans can expect a spectacular half-time show on behalf of the Grammy award winner.
The 2013 Super Bowl will take place at New Orleans’ Mercedes-Benz Superdome. According to ABC News, Beyoncé had previously performed at the 2004 Super Bowl, when she opened the games with her beautiful rendition of the national anthem.
The official announcement came from the NFL Tuesday night.
