Big Time Rush’s second album, Elevate, has gone gold in Mexico!
The Nickelodeon band’s success seems to keep growing and growing and recently, all of their hard work paid off as they received their second gold album in Mexico.
According to the Examiner, the band’s debut album, BTR, also went gold in the country.
The band's album, Elevate, is a testament to just how much the boys have grown over the years. The music has matured as the boys have. I's no wonder it has done extremely well as it has grabbed the attention of their fans young and old alike.
The boys of Big Time Rush shared their excitement about the news with their fans via Twitter.
Kendall Schmidt, 21, tweeted, “2nd gold album in Mexico!! You guys really are amazing. ¡Muchas gracias.”
And fellow bandmate, Carlos Pena, Jr., said, “Thank you thank you thank you!! Mexico love you soooo much!! Best news EVER!! GOLD RECORD IN MEXICO!!”
Hitzone Online reports that the band was in Mexico for the final leg of their widely popular Big Time Summer Tour.
After Mexico, the boys headed to Brazil and played the Z Festival with popular acts like The Wanted and Hot Chelle Rae. They will then head over to other places in South America like Chile, Costa Rica and Panama.
Congratulations to the guys of Big Time Rush!
