FOX’s hit animated series Bob’s Burgers will be back for a 22-episode fourth season. The announcement that comes surprisingly quickly into the third season that started a few weeks ago.
According to ComingSoon.net, the show had the best year-to-year growth of any broadcast series this season and ranks second in its Sunday timeslot among the coveted Male 18-49 demographic.
"We are really proud of the way the show has grown over the past three seasons -- without losing the unique voice at its core -- and we know that the best is yet to come for Bob's Burgers and its fans," said FOX Chairman of Entertainment Kevin Reilly.
Bob’s Burgers was recently nominated for the Outstanding Animated Program but lost to Nickelodeon’s The Penguins of Madagascar.
The show centers on a family owned hamburger restaurant and is executive produced by Jim Dauterive, who worked on FOX’s long running animated comedy King of the Hill.
IGN reported that the series’ third season, which is running now, will feature guest appearances (voice work) from Kevin Kline, Jon Hamm, Aziz Ansari, Bill Hader and Sarah Silverman.
