Pop sensation and X Factor judge Britney Spears is about to have her infamous meltdown brought to life once again.
According to Fox News Spears’ former manager, Sam Lutfi, is seeking compensation stating that he was ‘unfairly’ blamed for the “Toxic” singers 2008 meltdown.
Spears will not be in attendance during the trial despite the fact that Lutfi is seeking “millions of dollars” from both Spears and her family in the libel suit. Lutfi alleges that the singers mother Lynne, who recorded her daughter’s actions in a journal which was later published, wrongfully wrote that he drugged and isolated Spears during their time together.
Due to the X Factor judges court-ordered conservatorship, a judge has stated that Spears should not testify “under any circumstances.” Lutfi is currently trying to find a way around the conservatorship as he wants the singer to speak in court.
Lutfi was ordered to stay away from Spears and was not allowed near her or to speak to her once the conservatorship was put in place. Her father, Jamie, is suing Lutfi for $93,000 in legal fees, which Lutfi is trying to overturn.
The “Hit Me Baby One More Time” singer seems back on her feet after her erratic behavior which included shaving her head, beating ex-husband Kevin Federline vehicle with a bat, and loosing custody of her two sons. She signed a $15 million X Factor contract, TMZ reports, and over the last year and half has earned well over $32 million.
