As Gossip Girl gets ready to air its final season, Chace Crawford dished to reporters at the EPIX and Vanity Fair sponsored event in New York City, Everything or Nothing: The Untold Story of 007, that before he bids farewell to his cast mates, he’ll have to reclaim something very important that he lost – his dignity.
Us Weekly reports that the 27-year-old hunky actor said, “I’m gonna look for my dignity. My dignity is somewhere on set. I think it happened around season two. Leading into season three, it was all out the window.”
What else does Crawford plan on seeking out before he leaves? Snagging some of the fabulous, designer clothes that his character got to wear. “I would take some of those suits if I could. I’m gonna try and steal some badass ashtrays, if I can fit them in my coat pocket.”
But more than anything, the actor says he will miss the dear friends he’s made over the last five years filming the show. “I saw them for, like, an hour everyday. I talked to them about my life problems. Some were like a therapist. I’m gonna miss those girls.”
According to Entertainment Wise, Crawford may even shed some tears when all is said and done. “It’s bittersweet. We have this whole family and it’s kind of a scary time in my life because I’m going to have to like move…moving in general is the most scary. It’s the most stressful thing, but I’m probably going to move bck to L.A. and, you know, just cry!”
The season finale of Gossip Girl airs Monday, October 8 at 9 p.m. on The CW.
