Batman Returns actor Danny DeVito and Cheers actress Rhea Perlman have separated after 30 years of marriage.
News of the shocking split was confirmed by the couple's rep to ET Online. DeVito and Perlman were married on January 6, 1982 after meeting on the set of the late 1970’s sitcom, Taxi.
According to ET, the couple have three children together; 29-year-old Lucy, Grace, 27, and 24-year-old son Jacob.
According to Huffington Post, DeVito once noted that Perlman was “vibrant, with a great sense of humor, and real warm.” The two moved in together after two weeks of dating.
DeVito’s other credits include: Matilda, The Rainmaker, Man on the Moon and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. DeVito lent his voice to play the Lorax in Dr. Seuss The Lorax and is rumored to play Vincent Benedict in Triplets, opposite Arnold Schwarzenegger and Eddie Murphy.
Perlman also starred in Matilda, with other credits which include Pearl, Kate Brasher Hung and the 2013’s The Stupidest Angel.
