Demi Lovato and Britney Spears are both currently judges on The X Factor. While they take a seat at the same judging table, will they soon share the recording studio and collaborate on a new song? The 20-year-old “Give Your Heart a Break” singer is hopeful.
''I would love to," Lovato told PopSugar about collaborating with the “Criminal” singer, 30. "I would be so excited to. There hasn't been any talks now but I keep putting out there in the universe so that hopefully one day it'll happen."
In the meantime, Spears and Lovato both have new music in the works. Spears collaborated with Will.i.am on the song “Scream and Shout.” She shot the music video this past weekend and recently revealed to Access Hollywood that fans will hear it “soon.” As many Lovatics already know, Demi Lovato is hard at work on her fourth album, the follow-up to 2011’s Unbroken. She says, while there is still more to be done, her next album will bring back real music.
"Fans can expect a less dancy-pop album. I'm trying to stay away from EDM on this album and no dubstep for me,” she said, according to Digital Spy. "I miss hearing real instruments on the radio and I wanna be able to bring that back. That's important me. I want my sound and lyrics to mature as well as I have the past year."
