Yes, a fifth Die Hard installment is on its way and today it got an awesome trailer that will put you in the spirit of the franchise.
Officially titled A Good Day to Die Hard, the plot sees John McClane (Bruce Willis returning to the role that made him) going to save his son, played by Spartacus: Blood and Sand alum Jai Courtney, from a terrorist group in Moscow.
"It's a personal challenge. Because there are gaps of time between each movie,” Willis told HuffPost Entertainment. “Now I'm this age, and trying to [make] an action movie with the Die Hard theme. How fast can I run? How well can I fight? So that's a challenge and, you know, it's a fun thing to do.”
The fifth entry in the series that started back in 1988 is being directed by John Moore, best known for Behind Enemy Lines.
Mary Elizabeth Winstead is said to reprise her role from Live Free or Die Hard, the fourth film which came out in 2007.
ComingSoon.net says that A Good Day to Die Hard will hit theaters February 14. You know, Valentine’s Day, making this the perfect date movie.
