Jennifer Aniston’s newest venture is becoming part owner and spokesperson for the hair care line Living Proof, which is available in the U.S, U.K., Australia and New Zealand.
The former Friends actress has been making headlines because of her famous hair stemming all the way back to her haircut on the hit sitcom, which resulted in the hair style being named The Rachel, after her character on the show.
According to E! Online, the line was co-created by an MIT professor, who uses the biotech industry to create the products.
Aniston said in a statement "I've tried so many hair care products. Over the years, my hair has been subjected to everything...blow dryers, flatirons, curling irons, color, extensions, you name it. My hair has taken a serious beating. After using these products, I felt like I finally discovered a solution that works every day. I could not be more excited to share Living Proof with the world."
People reports that Aniston used the product while filming a movie in North Carolina where there was 100 percent humidity. The product has been around for seven years.
She will not only be the face of the brand, but she will be involved in the development of the brand as well as the creative marketing. She will also work with with stylists and scientists about new ideas.
Aniston will start shooting the campaign in November.
