Jennifer Lawrence dicusses dealing with fame

By Meaghan Fleming,

Actress Jennifer Lawrence sat down with British Vogue to discuss how life is different after The Hunger Games.

Life for Jennifer Lawrence has definitely changed after taking on the iconic role of Katniss Everdeen in the hit movie The Hunger Games. One of the major changes involves having less privacy in everyday life.

According to the Huffington Post, Lawrence discusses the lack of privacy because of paparazzi, saying: “You watch these little freedoms being eroded away, like being able to pump gas in peace or whatever. But it’s here, and it comes and goes and leaves.”

She goes on to say she can deal with the paparazzi, but is annoyed by the mean comments that sometimes go along with the photographs.

“Like, they got me at the movies yesterday and the caption read something like ‘Curvy star cannot wait to dig into tub of popcorn.’ I mean, C’mon!” she said. “I’m just a normal girl who likes to eat.”

The Telegraph reports that Lawrence finds Great Britain a nicer place for celebrities than Los Angeles because she can go out without getting photographed constantly. She says, “The more I travel, the more I get tired of LA when I get back. I’ve been to maybe six restaurants in the four years I’ve lived there.”

As we previously reported , Lawrence is now the face of Miss Dior. She will begin appearing in advertising for the brand in March 2013.

At the moment, Lawrence is working on the second Hunger Games movie, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire which will be released on November 22, 2013.
