Jennifer Lawrence went from being fearless in the The Hunger Games to being fearful in her new scary movie, House at the End of the Street.
Although she stars in a new creepy thriller, which was shot before The Hunger Games fame, the 22-year-old recently admitted that she’s personally not a big fan of the horror genre. Horror movies terrify her, so she took the role to try and overcome her fears.
“In real life I'm terrified of horror movies,” she said, according to The Daily Mail. “If I want to watch one, I have to plan out the next three months of my life, because I'll know I'm going to be afraid of everything - afraid of the dark, afraid of elevators, afraid of my shadow. I thought if I had the experience of actually being in one it would make me less afraid of seeing them.”
Lawrence, who has a few new movies due out in the coming months, is currently working on her latest film. It isn’t another horror movie, but instead she’s back playing Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games. According to The Huffington Post, the second film in the trilogy, Catching Fire, began filming in early September. The cast will shoot in Atlanta and the beaches and jungles in Hawaii before wrapping up in December.
