Comedic political analyst Stephen Colbert welcomed alternative rock band The Killers onto his show October 18, to talk on their new album Battle Born and perform a song.
After Stephen Colbert did a majority of his show, he then sat down with singer Brandon Flowers and drummer Ronnie Vannucci Jr. briefly. He discussed the band's clean-cut reputation, how presidential candidate Mitt Romney is a fan, and the band's Mormon affiliation.
The Killers then took the stage to perform their newest single off their album Battle Born titled “Miss Atomic Bomb.” The band sounds as good as ever live in this small studio they performed in. Brandon Flowers is singing while smiling almost the entire performance, and the band can rock as good as ever.
Afterwards, for online viewers, The Killers dusted off an old track from their first album Hot Fuss titled “All These Things That I’ve Done.” The song sounded just as good as when they first released it, and the performance was enjoyable. Killers fan or not, you must appreciate a band like The Killers and this latest comeback of theirs off of a previous hiatus.
