Lea Michele celebrates fake pregnancy rumors: ‘I’ve finally made it!’

Glee actress Lea Michele is celebrating a new milestone in her career. She has finally been the target of a fake pregnancy rumor.

Over the weekend, RumorFix had reported that Michele might have been hiding a baby bump when paparazzi spotted her on Saturday. The 26-year-old singer was seen clutching a large black purse and holding it in front of her stomach. It appeared that she may have been trying to hide a baby bump.

Although Michele’s rep later told the site that she is not expecting, Michele still had fun with it, noting on Twitter that the rumor means that she has finally hit the big time.

“My first fake pregnancy rumor!” she wrote. “I've finally made it! :)”

According to Us Weekly, Michele is currently dating her Glee co-star, Cory Monteith, 30. The two went public with their relationship in February.

Glee is currently in its fourth season, with Michele’s character in New York City now.

“The season's going incredible so far. I'm so happy I'm getting to work with Chris Colfer, Cory Monteith and Dean Geyer and Kate Hudson,” Michele told Us Weekly last month. “And being in a new location? It's really awesome!"
