At a promotional event at Regent Beverly Wilshire Thursday night, Lindsay Lohan announced her support for governor Mitt Romney. But the troubled starlet’s support may only goes as far as her words, as new reports say Lilo isn’t even registered to vote!
E! News reports that the Los Angeles County Voter Registration said Linds has yet to register since moving back to the U.S. from her home in Venice. In addition, voter material is said to have been mailed to the actress' L.A. home, but all was sent back.
E! reports that Lindsay was registered for the 2008 presidential election and did vote at that time. In order for the 26-year-old to cast her vote on Nov. 6, she has until Oct. 22 to register, according to the California Secretary of State.
As Fox News reports, Lilo stood behind President Obama after he was elected into office, calling his victory “amazing.” But now it seems the starlet has changed her mindset. Lohan told reporters, “I think unemployment is very important for now, so as of now I think [my vote] is Mitt Romney.”
The Mean Girls star was also probed as to why she had a change of heart, to which she replied, “It’s a long story, but you’re going to have to wait for that.”
