Despite the recent altercations mother, Dina, and subsequently her father, Michael, Lindsay Lohan got political at Mr. Pink's Ginseng Drink event on Thursday. And her nominee pick may come as a surprise.
According to E! Online, the Liz & Dick star shared her presidential election pick when she stepped out at Mr. Pink's Ginseng Drink event at the Regent Beverly Wilshire on Thursday night. Lohan announced that as of now, she plans to vote for Republican candidate, Mitt Romney.
MTV News reported that although the 26-year-old actress pledged her support for Barack Obama back in 2008, the Mean Girls star stated the most important issue to her is unemployment.
“I think unemployment is very important for now, so as of now I think [my vote] is Mitt Romney,"
Last month, Lohan challenged Obama on twitter to "cut taxes for those who need it: middle-class families, small businesses" as well as, "those that are listed on Forbes as 'millionaires.'"
When Fox News questioned Lohan about her surprising change of heart, she responded, "It's a long story, but you're going to have to wait for that.”
UPDATE: The Los Angeles County Voter Registration office told E! News that Lohan is not registered to vote in LA.
