During his round of interviews promoting his memoir Total Recall: My Unbelievably True Life Story, Arnold Schwarzenegger calls his estranged wife Maria Shriver is “truly the only love that I've ever had” and that he hopes to reconcile with her in the future.
Schwarzenegger and Shriver are separate now because of the now famous scandal that involved the Terminator star fathering a child out of wedlock with his former housekeeper Mildred Baena.
But since the interview with Piers Morgan on Tuesday night, Shriver has been seen wearing her wedding ring, The Daily Mail reports.
Shriver was seen leaving a restaurant with her daughter Katherine on Saturday in Brentwood, California, wearing the wedding ring on her left finger.
Although Shriver filed for divorce last year after 25 years of marriage, Schwarzenegger has said he has “the hope that Maria and I can come back together as husband and wife and as a family with our children.” They have four children together.
The Sun reports that Schwarzenegger also said during his interview with Morgan “It’s my fault. There’s no one else to blame. I screwed up badly and I take the full blame for it.
“I mean the thing that I cherished the most was my personal life, was my marriage and was my family. I always thought that it was one of my greatest accomplishments,” he also said.
The couple reportedly still spend holidays together despite their split.
