History Channel's Pawn Stars, consisting of Rick, Corey, the Old Man and Chumlee, are being sued by their ex-manager, Wayne Jefferies.
Jefferies feels he has been betrayed by the Pawn Stars members after discovering them in 2007. Back then, the Pawn Stars crew was working out of Gold & Silver Pawn before Jefferies approach them and helped them establish their own reality TV show on A&E and the History Channel.
According to TMZ, A&E planned on producing a spinoff show called Cajun Pawn Stars. The network claims Jefferies leaked their plans to produce the spinoff. Consequently, the network urged the Pawn Stars cast to relinquish Jefferies of his management duties for interfering with the network's plans.
The network continued their plans to produce the spinoff, and according to UPI, the cast is not happy. However, despite their distaste for the new show, the cast still got rid of Jefferies who is now seeking legal action.
With the help of attorney Richard A. Schonfeld, Jefferies is suing for breach of contract and unspecified damages.
