New artists have been added to the line up to perform at this year’s American Music Awards, joining Taylor Swift, Nicki Minaj, Linkin Park and Christina Aguilera.
Pink, Carrie Underwood and Pitbull are the newest acts to be announced as performers for the November 18 award show.
According to MTV News, in the coming weeks, even more performers will be announced, in addition to presenters for the 40th annual award show.
The nominations have already been announced, with Rihanna and Minaj leading the pack with four nods each.
The “Diamonds” singer was nominated for artist of the year, female soul/R&B artist, album (Talk That Talk) and female pop/rock artist, while Minaj is nominated for female pop/rock artist, pop/rock album (Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded), rap/hip hop album (Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded) and rap artist.
Drake, Justin Bieber, Maroon 4 and One Direction all received three nods, and Chris Brown, Fun. and Gotye got two.
The pre-show will be hosted by Lance Bass, Kimberly Cole, Brad Goreski, Sean Kingston, Eden Sher and Tristan Wilds and will start at 5pm.
