Rapper Jay-Z received some words of wisdom in the parenting department from the President of the United States, Barack Obama.
Us Weekly reports that Obama appeared on Cleveland’s Z107.9 radio show earlier this week, where the 51-year-old leader was asked about his friendship with the 44-year-old hip-hop icon.
“I’ve gotten to know these guys [Beyoncé and Jay-Z] over the first several years,” Obama shared. “They’re good people. They’re down to earth. Beyoncé could not be sweeter to Michelle and the girls. So they’re good friends. They really are down-to-earth folks.”
According to People, Mr. President also gave his buddy some great advice from personal experience. “I made sure that Jay-Z was helping Beyoncé out [with the baby] and not leaving it all to mom and the mother-in-law.”
And earlier this month, Obama compared his life to Jay’s, saying, “Jay knows what my life is like. We both have daughters and our wives are more popular than we are.”
