An Obama fundraiser took place on Los Angeles over the weekend, featuring Katy Perry, Bon Jovi, Stevie Wonder, Earth Wind & Fire and Jennifer Hudson as performers.

The crowd of 6,000 at the Nokia Theater supported the President, who asked for their help to re-elect him.

"Everything we fought so hard for in 2008 is on the line in 2012," he told the crowd, The Hollywood Gossip reports. “And I need your help to finish what we started. I need your help."

Obama, who is said to have lost the first Presidential Debate against his opponent Mitt Romney, alluded to his loss when talking to the crowd, saying of the performers "They just perform flawlessly night after night. I can't always say the same."

"If there's one thing I know, we've come a long way and we've come too far to turn back now,” he continued.

E! Online reports that after the fundraiser, Obama had dinner at famed chef Wolfgang Puck’s restaurant for a dinner that costs $25,000 per-plate.
