Rihanna is single and Chris Brown just revealed he is newly single, so does that mean the controversial couple is giving romance another chance?
It's hard to forget why these two broke up in the first place. Brown assaulted Rihanna after a pre-Grammy party in 2009. It hurt Brown's career a bit and introduced the dark side of Rihanna. Though they reconnected shortly after the assault, they did go their separate ways for a while.
Recently, there have been countless rumors of a reunion between Brown and Rihanna. In an interview with Oprah Winfrey over the summer, Rihanna revealed, despite their breakup, she never stopped loving Brown.
She admitted at the time that she still loves him.
"We love each other and we probably always will and that is not anything that we are going to try to change," she said, according to CBS News. "That is not something you can shut off if you are ever in love."
Fast forward to early last month, they showed just how close they have gotten, at the VMAs. Brown hugged and kissed Rihanna, which was caught on camera, after she won the biggest award of the night.
According to reports, since then, the 24-year-old "Diamonds" singer and the 23-year-old "Don't Wake Me Up" singer have been spending a lot of time together. According to E! News, they have also been getting affectionate with each other again. The were recently seen together at a New York City club dancing with each other and kissing. They also attended a Jay-Z concert together. They have been staying at the same hotel as well.
Brown, who had been dating model Karrueche Tran, announced he had split from his girlfriend because he didn't want to hurt her with his "friendship" with Rihanna.
As it appears, they are more than just friends, but according to Rihanna it's no one's "bidness."
"Ain't nobody bidness..... But mine and my baby!" she tweeted, The Daily Mail reported. But it looks like no one told Chris Brown that, since he shared a video with fans about loving two people at once featuring both Rihanna and Karrueche.
"I’m stressed out… when you share history with somebody, then you tend to fall in love with somebody else, it’s kinda difficult," He says. “Is there such thing as loving two people? I don’t know if that’s possible, but for me, I feel like that. I don’t want to hurt either or…I’m not trying to be a player, I’m not trying to be a dog. I’m not none of that… I just care too much.”
And while fans will have to wait and see where their relationship goes, Brown's ex isn't too pleased.
"There's a difference between a man and a boy. I prefer men," she tweeted before adding, "All I'm saying is.. You don't mess with people's genuine feelings. You just don't! Life moves on...so let's all."
